Paul Swearengin has been in local sports media since his days at Fresno State from 1984-1988. Before joining the 1430 ESPN staff, Paul was best known as an award-winning sports anchor/reporter for Fresno's KSEE-24 TV. Prior to that time, Paul served in a similar role in El Paso, TX and in Bakersfield.

Paul also served as the host of "Dog Talk" and as the "voice of Fresno State Baseball" plus was the host of "The Jerry Tarkanian Show" & "The Jim Sweeney Show" whick aired regionally on ESPN 2.

Paul Started his broadcast carrer at the age of 16 at KOOQ/KELN Radio in North Platte, Nebraska and was also the radio voice for Mike Belloti's Chico State Football Team.
